The use of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) in the treatment of various autoimmune diseases stems from its wide-ranging immunosuppressive actions. Existing research on the correlation between HCQ concentration and its immunosuppressive effect is scarce. To gain a deeper understanding of this relationship, in vitro experiments were performed on human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) to assess the influence of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) on T and B cell proliferation and cytokine generation stemming from stimulation of Toll-like receptors (TLRs) 3, 7, 9, and RIG-I. Numerous studies in recent years have examined the role of interleukin (IL)-23 inhibitors in the management of psoriatic arthritis (PsA). IL-23 inhibitors' specific binding to the p19 subunit of IL-23 causes the interruption of downstream signaling pathways, thus preventing inflammatory responses. To determine the clinical benefit and tolerability of IL-23 inhibitors in PsA patients, this study was undertaken. coronavirus-infected pneumonia PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, and EMBASE databases were scrutinized for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on the use of IL-23 in PsA therapy, encompassing the period from initial design to June 2022.
